Our business
We operate high-speed catamaran vessels built for performance and high efficiency. All our vessels are equipped with cranes and some have a large cargo deck, this making them suitable for use over a wide range of differing working roles. Northern Offshore Services were one of the first operators in Europe to specialize in this segment.
Time taken at so many different sites of operation has taught us to develop new procedures for special work requested by our customers. This has given us the skills and “know-how” required for different offshore operations. Our purpose-built crew transfer vessels are capable of working in the most demanding conditions.
We have a proven track record and a reputation for acting proactively on behalf of our clients, suppliers, and partners. Moreover, we exhibit flexibility in solving unexpected issues that can arise during a contract period. We have demonstrated our capacity and ability to perform well at sites anywhere in Europe. Our experience in working with several offshore wind projects at various sites and under different conditions throughout Europe allows us to ensure there is always a good system in place to ensure safety, efficient logistics, effective support and the right suppliers.
Since 1 January 2011, Northern Offshore Services has expanded business to include a
full management service for pilot vessels in Vänersborg, Sweden. The Swedish Maritime Administration is our client. This long term contract will give us a good opportunity to expand and provide organisations and companies an even more effective management service for vessels in the industry.
Commercial
Thanks to our track record and operations throughout Europe, we have obtained extensive experience and established relationships on both the customer and the supplier side. This gives us the flexibility needed to deal with unexpected events at wind farm projects that could affect workload.
Our strenghts
Over the years in the offshore wind business we have obtained invaluable experience from projects at several sites in European waters and our classifications allow us to operate successfully in all European countries. All our personnel hold the international endorsements (STCW) necessary for them to work in all countries. This gives our clients far more reliable service and allows the use of our vessels and crew in different countries without complications.
Our Mission
At Northern Offshore Services, our goal is to help our client solve problems rather than just wait for a solution. This allows our clients to experience the extra value provided. Northern Offshore Services seek to be innovative and flexible and gain customer confidence in our ability.
